2014-04-15 09:28:57@10000477ltd@gmail.com, in the case of turning day, you should look at the GMT timezone. Beijing timezone is UTC+8h00, you shall use your birthday in Beijing Time - normally roughly the same as yours. Your Chinese birthday or sign depends on the day of Beijing local date time.

2012-01-19 04:34:22I don't think your calculator is correct because my chinese birth date looks wrong. I have compared with other sites and they all provide the same answer which is different to yours.

2007-01-11 15:00:38The conversion of Chinese date that is based on a lunisolar calendar and the Gregorian calendar that is a pure solar calendar is very complex: there is no mathematical formula to perform it. The algorithm used in this site describes the triple motion of the three celeste bodies: the Sun, the Earth and the Moon.

2007-01-08 18:34:50When I was a child my mother always announced my Chinese birthday when it arrived. I was always thrilled! I never knew when it was going to happen. That was the fun of it. I knew that it was always close to my western birthdate. It never made sense and there was no pattern. I never asked her how she figured it out. Is there a way to calculate my children's Chinese birthdays. Maybe there is a computer program that I could write to calculate it. Could you give me some hints or advice? Thank-you very much. You have a great site.
